Daisy Wholesale Data Centre open day

A leading wholesale aggregator is providing the channel with an exclusive opportunity to tour its industry-leading Hampshire data centre.

Daisy Wholesale is inviting partners to attend an open day at its recently-opened data centre in Fareham on Thursday, 22nd September.

Those who attend will be given a one-off tour of the Segensworth facility, which boasts unique features that minimise the risk of disruption to business continuity.

On the day, Daisy Wholesale’s Managing Director Carl Churchill will give an introduction to the data centre, alongside Matt McCluney, Account Director at Scottish and Southern Energy, who own the facility.

Churchill says: “This is a fantastic opportunity for resellers to get inside our data centre and see and hear for themselves the benefits it can offer them and their customers.

“Daisy Wholesale’s data centre benefits from advanced features, including 24/7 manned security, internal and external CCTV, ID verification process, secure environments, fire suppression, cooling, 24x7  remote hands - all the things you may not see at a customer’s office.

“You are more likely to get a customer to adopt hosted resources or cloud applications if you can present a data centre with these facilities and an array of added benefits.

“These are some of the reasons why the industry is currently seeing an up-rise in the number of people adopting hosted applications and making an investment in data centre environments. Disaster recovery is big business. There has never been a better time to embrace the change.”

Those interested in attending the open day will be invited to join either a morning or afternoon session, which both include lunch.

As well as being given the chance to network with partners, visitors will be given an overview of SSE and the data centre, a talk on ‘how Daisy Wholesale adds value’, a tour of the data centre facility, and will be invited to join in with an open forum.
